Outing's Route 2026

Departure at 14:15 from the Letná castle!

This year’s Halloween Outing will bring you to a unique place with a marvelous views over Prague. Hold onto your hats so you won’t lose them! This year’s Outing will go through Letná Orchards!

Starting point of the Outing will be in front of the Letná Castle, near Letná orchards.

The route will then lead directly through the Orchards, around the Pendulum and the Letná Pond. Group Photo and a break will have a place directly in the middle of Letná. From there, we'll march all the way back to the Letná Castle, where our journey will end.

All of the route will go through shaded areas inside of the Orchards. Still, be wary of your own physical health and don't be afraid to stop to rest individually or seek some of our helperteam or orgateam members in case of nausea or overheating.

Our Water Carriers will go with us through the entire Outing, however, we kindly ask you to, unless necessary, wait with your refreshment until the refreshment break. In case of an emergency however, be sure to seek the nearest helper for aid and a drink. In total, over 150 litres of water and 300 straws will be ready for your needs.

Dos and don’ts:

We are fully aware that you want to enjoy the Outing and yourself to its fullest. We kindly ask you though, always remember that you are in a public area, so keep your behaviour and noise levels on a reasonable level. Don’t divert from the Outing’s route, don’t enter various businesses alongside the route in your Fursuit, try to care about your surroundings and most importantly, always respect the instructions of the Orgateam and Helper’s team. Be cautious of your surrounding during the walk - Orchards are full of trees, potholes and mysterious vegetation bores in the pavement.

If you are carrying a speaker, try to keep its volume on a reasonable level. If there are multiple people with speakers around you, do not try to overpower their music.

Be very careful around the viewpoints. Railings are often not as strong as they look like. Walls might not be as tall and wide as they seem. It is completely normal for someone to accidentaly bump into you in the rush of the outing. Do not lean on or climb the rampasses and railings.

Don’t walk on the grass unless absolutely necessary. Do not step into flower beds or ornamental flowers under any circumstances. Don’t damage your surroundings and nature.

When do we start?

Outing will begin at 14:15 in front of the Letná Castle. Be on time, the Outing cannot wait for anyone! The whole journey won’t take longer than two hours in total.

What’s the Route?

All of the Outing will lead through the Letná orchard. The Outing is about 2,2 km long and will overcome a total elevation of ~15 meters.

ATTENTION! Due to technical reasons, we had to choose a route that is not barrier-free - there is one staircase on our route that we'll have to climb (about 40 stairs in total). It is, however, possible to go around those (with a help of our orgateam). Would you need to avoid the stairs due to your medical condition, please, seek out a member of our orgateam on site to be guided through a detour (don't worry, you won't miss much of the Outing - the detour is only about 170 metres long).

And how to get there?

Using public transportation, the best way to get here is from the tram stop Letenské náměstí. From there, it is less than ten minutes on foot to the starting place of the Outing, following the Nad Štolou or Ovenecká streets.

For parking, we advise to use streets. Many paid parking zones (blue of violet) can be found around, the closest ones being on Kostelní (including the parking lot at the National Agriculture Museum), Letohradská or Muzejní streets. If all surrounding streets would be full, we advise seeking shelter in nearby Letná underground garages, which can be accessed directly from the Milady Horákové street (near Sparta tram stop). All parking areas in the nearest vincinity of the outing are paid.
